The 2km Run/Walk departs from the Sunbird Village car park on Port Douglas Road in front of the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas. With palm trees all around it will be a magical destination to begin our 2km Run/Walk. This distance is perfect for families to come along and get involved with this wonderful new event for Port Douglas.

The course will take you through the absolutely stunning grounds of the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort and down a ramp onto the sand at Four Mile Beach. What a spectacular location to finish your Run/Walk as you head down towards the finish arch for the final 1.5km’s. There will always be a stretch of hard packed sand to use so most prams should be able to travel along the sand.

NOTE:  Prams are permitted – for safety reasons please start from the back of the field in all events.  Children within prams (under 4) are FREE (please see the registration desk when collecting your race pack to collect a race band).  If you would like the child to receive their own medal, please register them as a separate entrant.
